Project Detail

This project was a relatively large extension to and refurbishment of a rural dwelling.

All work had to comply with strict local planning constraints (Snowdonia National Park) with regular inspections.

The extension was of a traditional cavity wall construction with locally sourced stone clad walls, slates to the roof and a large triangular purpose made oak curtain walling to one gable end.

The extension formed a part of a laboratory and living room with very high finishing standards.

With the existing dwelling still in occupation during the construction, serious consideration was given to separate the occupants from the work site at all times.
